Basic Knife Skills with Chef Grant

The foundation for becoming a better cook lies in knife cuts. Chef Grant will teach you the very basics of knife selection, to basic prep, to slices and dices, and basic knife maintenance. This class will take your cooking to the next level!

We, locals, love our salt and pepper pork chops, mapo eggplant, and minute chicken on cake noodle, so how about learning. how to make them instead of ordering them? Chef Grant will teach you the simple knife cuts, marination technique, and cooking hacks to make these oh so delicious dishes at home.

This course provides participants a hands-on experience with a KCC Culinary Faculty Chef, Grant Sato to learn the process of cooking popular local noodles (Chow Fun, Pho, Yakisoba).
