The Global Learning & Development team met with professionals and leaders from various Hawai`i industries to discuss and define the meaning of “professionalism”. A growing concern of the current local workforce industry are the challenges met with a multi-generational and diverse workforce. Mixing, managing, and working together creates a variety of obstacles and an additional set of working skills are in high demand to remain competitive and current in any profession. An evolving workforce is on the rise and there is no doubt that forward-thinking companies and professionals are already beginning to address these issues now to prepare for the future.
