Withdrawal & Refund Policy
Public View Registration and General Information
Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please help us avoid cancellations by registering at least four (4) weeks before the course, workshop, or tour begins. The Office of Continuing Education and Training reserves the right to cancel classes due to insufficient enrollment. When this occurs, registrants will receive a full refund or may transfer to another section or course upon availability.
Withdrawal
A total withdrawal of 100% refund will only be permitted if the request is made at least ten (10) business days (Monday-Friday, excluding holidays) prior to the start of the event, program, or course during regular office hours. Withdrawal of 100% refund requests should only be done in person, by phone, or by a drop request on the student University of Hawaiʻi Community College portal. Failure to attend class or notify your instructor of your intent to withdraw does not constitute an official withdrawal from the course. Agencies submitting purchase orders for student registration fees will be billed regardless of attendance unless notification of withdrawal is made by the specified refund deadline.
Refund
Refund for check and cash payments are processed within six (6) weeks to ten (10) weeks. Refunds for charge payments are credited to the amount originally charged. Please allow two (2) to three (3) business days for the refunds to return to your account. Exceptions may be granted with approval from the Director of Continuing Education and Training.
